Decent basic standard servos at cheap price

These are not true MG996R servos
I bought these on the strengths that they were original MG996R servos which I had purchased previously about 12 months ago from an alternative supplier. Those shown here, in the picture, are the type you will get. If you check the picture you will see they are actually are DM996. So, I have one running on my servo tester and they work okay but they feel/sound rough/noisy. My original true MG996R runs much smoother although DM996 are about half the price of the true MG996R servo.Edit: These servos burn out after about 1 hour use, I have thrown the rest away in the bin.

3 of the 6 motors stopped working nearly instantly
Bought these for a college project, half of the motors stopped working after just 10 minutes of use. Used the motors at just under 6V, after applying a small load the motors would start smoking as they were shorting somewhere internally. The first one that shorted damaged my small power supply which I had to replace. Definitely do not buy.
