Pretty design, but doesn't feel like it's worth $150.
I got this only because I was enthralled by the whimsical design. I've been collecting teacups and saucers for 30 years, mostly fine bone china, but never had a Wedgwood before and was really excited about this. I was honestly not impressed when it arrived. It's a heavy, thick piece of china that just felt cheap in my hands (well, cheaper than $150). I just don't see what all the fuss is about if this is how all their china is ...I have to return it because I can't bear the idea of spending this much on something just because the design is nice. I'm really about the whole tea drinking experience and can pay as little as $20 for an antique with a beautiful feel and a nice "ping" when you set the cup in the saucer.
