Highly recommend (but note, it comes in solid pieces)
I ordered this cacao paste to try as it was cheaper than the raw cacao. I've been making raw cacao daily, and having it as part of my 5 mins to be mindful (I regularly attend cacao ceremonies). I've kept it up as I like the little 5 mins of mindfulness but I've also found it's massively helped me curb my sugar cravings. Since I've kept up the practise, I've barely ate chocolate or sweet treats.I did a bit of research and the paste is different from the chunks. From what I've read it says that it's made from ground cacao nibs and has a higher oil content/is thicker. (Where as raw caco is made from the whole bean and is more earthy/acidic).I actually really like how the paste tastes. It's creamer and I'd say it was more chocoaltely tasting, it also melts better and you're not left with any gritty bits in the bottom of the mug . It does come in a bag with pieces but they're a little different to raw cacao. It looks like there are ribbons or bands of lighter colours throughout the paste, like when you a chocolate bar that's separated in the heat. I believe that those bands are the oils within the paste. You do still need to chop (or grate) the paste as it comes in solid pieces. I think some people have bought this thinking it comes as a paste (as in mushy/ not hard). If you're trying to decide between paste or raw cacao chunks, the decision really depends on what you want to achieve. If it comes down to price, then paste wins hands down. If it's about purity or rawness I think paste is slightly more 'processed'.Personally I'm more likely to buy this from now on to drink daily. I might buy some raw cacao for times when I want to do my own mini ceremony/ ritual.I highly recommend this paste and think it's great value for money.

Best ceremonial cacao ✨
I tried so many cacaos of ceremonial grade that are available in the UK and they are all lovely and unique in taste and texture. This one is my favorite of them all 💎 the smell, taste and texture are just amazing. So happy I gave it a try and 'risked' it by ordering bigger package it's absolutely wonderful 🤎

Good stuff
Today I had my first drink from this brand. The chocolate was very marbled, rich and creamy. Way better than my previous brand and equally as cost friendly.Delicious, gentle, warming and worth a purchase

Chunks not paste
Very happy with quality of product but this is my second order and both times I’ve ordered paste and received chunks.

Fabulous flavour
This is the same price as other ceremonial grade cacao out there, however the product is. in my opinion superior. As soon as I opened the packet and saw the product I knew it would be good. It's gorgeously grainy and marbly in appearance, and a wonderful colour too.The taste doesn't have the bitter bite of the other products I've tried, I can nibble it raw, or have homely, hot chocolate with it. I have ordered another larger bag, it's now my go to, won't be buying any other onAmazon.

It's Ok.
I purchased a kilo of this product. It's ok. For me it lacks "punch" and flavour. Some may like what they interpret as subtlety. For me it is a lightweight cacao in terms of flavour and weight. My previous cacao was a very dense product in both taste and density. This cacao paste when one weighs out 22gm is a bigger lump than my previous cacao .It is not a "bad" product just that it lacks ,for me, taste.

Cacao
I love this. I take a cup every morning with some local honey added to it. I blend it with hot water in the Ninja and it's ready to go in a minute.
