I buy from this company and Palouse Brand, all the time. They suggest use within 3 years for lentils and beans. However, I buy in bulk, store them in buckets with oxygen absorbers and they are fine long after the suggested 3 years. You can also put them in vacuum food saver bags or glass canning jars with O2 absorbers. Store in a cool, dark place. I have some that are 9 years old.
