Q: Is the medium size thicker than the small size?

Thickness appears the same to me regardless of size.

Q: How long should I soak the dirty pads before washing them?

i only had to soak for about 20 minutes for incontinence. For periods I don't know. But they are very absorbent and air dry within a day.

Q: Will accidentally running these through the dryer ruin them?

I regularly wash them with all of my other clothes including in the dryer. I haven’t noticed any change in them at all.
