It's super easy, barely an inconvenience to install. You just clip it into the tank and put the little hoses into the right places and you're good. Honestly, it should take less than 5 minutes to install and no tools required for most toilets.It's fantastic. No matter how much work or disinfectants you put into cleaning the inside ring you can't see, it just can't get rid of everything in there. (Yeah the inside ring is the ring that sprays the water into the bowl when you flush it. It's just under the outside ring of the bowl. You can't wipe it, it's covered).It doesn't matter though, with this device it just kills all the bacteria in the whole bowl system, even the inner ring. Great product.

I think it's a matter of opinion and I do like the Fluidmaster flush system the best out of three different brands however I've tried the blue and the chlorine refills in the Fluidmaster and I like the clear chlorine cleaner better than the blue . They both keep the toilet bowl clean however the blue one starts out with a really dark blue and after about a month the blue gets very faint yet I admit the the cleaning power remains the same . The other thing is that in the beginning when the blue is new and dark colored it leaves noticeable blue spots aound the sides of the bowl where the water comes in.

I mean, now that I've written it out, that feels obvious.I'm not on septic but I'm trying to be more conscientious about what goes down my drain. (Yeah, it's probably a losing battle.) The blue water feels a little old fashioned and I miss that bleachy smell but I'm not cleaning the toilet nearly as much as I did before I installed the Flush 'n Sparkle system.****I'm currently trying a similar system by Kaboom! in my second bathroom. Flush'n Sparkle is a more solidly built system, that doesn't leak and the refills are less expensive. However, you can only use the refills made by Fluidmaster and I don't love that.

I was supposed to have received this article overnite. Between 4 and 8 a.m. here it is after 10. Still not here. Along with some other essential items.

Great way to keep the toilet looking clean and smelling clean. Nothing hanging in the bowl or coloring the water. It makes cleaning the bathroom fast and easy

Convenient cleaning for bowls but have tried both bleach and blue versions and bleach version lasts longer and cleans much better. Blue lasts about 6-8 weeks in a 2 toilet 2 person household. Cheaper than the bleach version but over the long run no where near as cost effective.

We have been using the Fluidmaster 8202P8 Flush 'n Sparkle Bio Balance Septic Refills for over a year in 3 bathrooms. We have averaged 2 months per refill. Recently, we switched to the Fluidmaster 8102 Flush 'n Sparkle Cleaning Refills because of their lower price. Unfortunately, all of our experiences with the model #8102 (blue cartridge) have been unsatisfactory. Out of four cartridges, none have lasted over a week. The cartridges turn the water to an extreme bluish color for the first two days. After that, the bluish color rapidly dissipated to a clear color in about a week's time. We have experienced similar duration times in three separate bathrooms. Only two people live in our newly constructed house.I have attempted to contact Fluidmaster's customer service at (800) 631-2011 multiple times. Unfortunately, every call went to voicemail because of extremely high call volumes. I left a voicemail as directed. However, Fluidmaster never called as promised.UPDATE:I finally spoke to customer service. They indicated that I may have received a bad batch of cartridges. Customer service was apologetic and professional. They are sending me replacement cartridges to correct the problem. This was my first bad experience with the cartridge duration time. As stated prior, I have been averaging over a two month duration time. During that time, the bowl remains reasonably clean. Every other week, I do make a few passes with the brush to remove a slight buildup on the bowl. No scrubbing is needed. The buildup comes off upon contact.
