Q: Are the Zeiss Terra Ed 10x42 waterproof and fog resistant ?

They do have water proofing...but I go with water resistant. My binoculars are new, so I haven't used them much yet. I don't know about the fog resistant feature.

Q: I’ve heard that 10x is difficult to keep steady. Do you have trouble keeping the binocs still enough for good images?

I don't, and I'm age 58. There is a technique to use for keeping binoculars steady that involves placing your thumbs against your face under your cheekbones. This helps greatly to steady the binoculars. I have no trouble getting a good view with my Zeiss 10x32s.

That is with width x length x thickness. It sounds big but are very compact. The best binoculars I have purchased over Nikon, Leopold and Vortex for the money hands down. You will not be disappointed in the clarity. Shawn Thompson
