Take your time and it works perfect
This replacement case worked great and the part number stamped on the inside is the same as the one on the inside of the factory remote so it may be the exact oem part. I took apart the old remote by prying it open from the keyring loop in the back and moving toward the front. Once it was open, I used ALL the old internal parts even though the case comes with some new metal parts. Definitely replace the battery when doing this, it should last for years. As another reviewer said, you should “wind” the spring 3 turns to get the right tension. You can do this by putting everything together and just before squeezing everything together, you twist the top part with the buttons around the spring 3 times and then push everything together. NOTE, you have to glue it together but you should first test all the buttons and the Entry and Drive if you have it. Once everything is confirmed, glue the two halves together. I used J-B Weld Quick Set Plastic Weld. Mix the J-B epoxy and then gently pry the halves apart and use a toothpick to get the epoxy into the grooves all the way around taking care to not get any where the key folds in. Use a rubber band to hold the two halves together until the epoxy cures. Also, this replacement case has the depression on the back for the crest. I used pliers to snap the old case in half where the crest was and it popped right out (use safety glasses). Use the epoxy to glue the crest onto the new case. All in all, it’s a SUPER cheap replacement for the original and you really can’t tell the difference.

Works as designed.
There are plenty of how-to vids on YouTube showing how to use this case to replace your worn out one. I used it to replace the failing case of my Cayenne. It worked beautifully and it looks and works like a brand new one.

Works pretty good, however
You need to understand that for the battery replacement you need to disassemble the unit and glue it again. I kept my original button peace and use just a top peace , so it worked pretty good to me
