Wonderful and educational book for insurance sales. Our company purchases for all new agents. I have tons of information highlighted in mine even after 25 years of selling insurance!

Back to the Basics
If you like Napoleon Hill's approach to a positive mind set, then this book will be a great addition to your sales tips library. Selling intangibles can be a challenge and this book has several chapters of useful information that remind us of the importance of the little things like time blocking your week and not being afraid to ask for the sale. Highly recommend this read.

Three Stars
It was okay - I was looking for something more commercial oriented, it was mostly about personal lines.

Good book!
This book is MAINLY about mindset. In fact, pretty much half of the book is based 100% on conditioning your mind for success. It is choc full of Napoleon Hill principles, since it is based on a manuscript that Napoleon Hill wrote that was apparently never released to the public. The actual Insurance Sale info is decent, not great. I have seen way better. But overall, despite that, this book is a GREAT read. Why? Because mindset is THE most important thing in sales, by leaps and bounds. As this book points out time and time again, you can take a person with no knowledge and a great attitude, and a very knowledgeable person with a poor attitude, and the "green" salesman will sell circles around the poor mindset/attitude person all day long. It's true. I have seen some VERY talented salespeople quickly come and go in this business. And I have seen absolutely awful salespeople make a lot of money. We laugh about it in my office all of the time. This young girl, 23, brand new to sales, made more money than anyone in our office her first 6 months, despite knowing NOTHING about insurance, about sales, or even about how to properly speak to people. She did it solely based off enthusiasm, and a burning desire to make a six-figure income.Anyway, long winded... this book is well worth the read. It's always great to study the importance of a great mindset as it relates to sales time and time again. It can never, ever steer you wrong.

Napoleon Hill
This original manuscript of this book was written by Mr. Hill but Mr. Hill died before it could be published. The writings for this books for found among his papers and turned over to his foundation which worked with a publisher to bring out the book. There are basically 17 lessons in this books about how to become successful in this field.

Excellent. An old pillar
Excellent. An old pillar? Yes. But like almost all old pillars worth to study. Remember, there has nothing been like that work by the time it had been conceived. Buy it if you are in professional sales, it still "illuminates". Buy it immediately if you are in insurance sales.

Positive Mental Attitude
I have taken a lot of the concepts in this book and applied them to my practice as a P&C agent. The same concept of being positive has spilled over into my life as well.
