Hello, The USB input of TOPPING E50 is a type B interface, please use 2.0 data cable.

Q: what's the size of the rca balance cable is it 1/4 or what kind of rca balance cable do i buy?

The outputs are either unbalanced (RCA) or balanced using an1/4” plug known as a TRS (tip, ring, sleeve). Also commonly known as a “stereo” 1/4 inch plug. You would use this if the amplifier you are using has a balanced input. If not, then use the RCA jack output with an RCA plug on both ends of the cable. You can also make your own cables, just make sure it’s wired correctly for the balanced outputs. Just keep in mind, rca plugs or cables are NOT balanced.

Q: How do i get my pc to display the 768khz... only seeing up 300ish khz (currently at work and forgot actual bitrate)?

You can go to Sound Control driver properties and select the output. I think it’s maxed at the connected DACs max or the USB max but I’m not certain of that.

Q: Which has better audio quality and performance the E50 or the E30ii

The E50 is superior in my opinion.
