No the metal blade is stationary on this fast feed model. Oster Classic 76 clippers have the removable blade.

Q: Anyone else have a problem with these getting STUCK in the hair? Yes, I oiled them first. It was painful for my victim!

I haven't had that problem but it's not uncommon with hair clippers. It sounds like the blades need a minor adjustment.

Q: Where do I get just the guards for this clipper?
