Can it also play m4a?

This module does not contain m4a hard decoding. The module itself integrates the hard decoding of MP3, WAV and WMA perfectly.

Can I put 9v to it, or will it burn up?

The datasheets that I have found for this part indicate that the supply voltage range is 3.3 to 5.0 VDC. Anything above 5VDC will most likely damage the unit.

Can this be used as a simple single button sound player without a microntroller?

Absolutely, I have it set up that way. If you only want one sound file to be played when you press a single button you can do that by adding a simple push button switch between pin 12 and ground. I use it on a cosplay gun to trigger a laser blast sound file when I pull the trigger; you just need to add a small speaker to pins 6 and 8, and power to pins 1+ and 7- (and the sound file on a mem stick of course).

Would I be able to play audio from a Bluetooth module?

You can use additional hardware to use a DF Mini Player with a Bluetooth module, but you'll need to know what you're doing to make it happen. This doesn't natively support Bluetooth. It also doesn't show the same board name as in the photos..
