Q: Will this be a good airbrush to use it for wargame miniatures? priming, basecoating and maybe some detail when i learn?

It's not bad, but it's a top loader... meaning that you'll have to "test the waters" when it comes to finding a good laquer or solid enamel/acrylic paint your going to use with it. Other than that, i've used this brush a lot for pretty much everything, from small figurines (lures for fishing) to larger projects (airbrushing my motorcycle gas tank). I would recommend you buy "airbrush ready paints" before you go testing the waters. And as much Paint thinner as you can get cheap. Thinner breaks down the more thicker paints for ya. This one came with tubes, and the cleanup was easy. It's like taking apart a gun. don't get scared when taking it apart... some of the parts are very tiny, but pretty durable. Air flow and paint / media are controlled by the trigger. All dual action airbrushes are of this nature.

Q: Is there a protection plan for this airbrush gun?

I tried this airbrush and it didn't work for me, wouldn't spray correctly no matter what I did. My suggestion is don't bother with this and go to badger or paasche or Iwata depending on how much you wanna spend

Q: How big is the box? I didn't find dimensions anywere.

Mine didn't look exactly like the box in the picture but mine came in a 7"x10" box which is bigger than the normal airbrush boxes which is about 7"x5" or so.
