The product is fine, looks great, but the tape sucked. Lucky I had a roll and replaced all the tape since the tape that was on it was weak. After putting new tape on, in the sun, it was fine.

These are, hands down, the best looking headlight guards you can buy for your Defender. I first found these from a provider in Australia and paid double the price. I quickly found out that the tape is not nearly strong enough. The problem is, if you try and install these and then pull them off to reinstall the correct tape they bend. Once they’re bent, you might as well throw them away. There is no way to get them to conform to your headlight. If you purchase these, immediately remove the provided tape ( you’ll notice how easily the tape comes off which is impossible with the current 3M automotive tape). Wipe down the guards with alcohol wipes to clean and get rid of any residue. Purchase 3M High Strength Automotive Tape and install it on the guards. Press firmly and then wait 48hrs to install on your car. Wipe your headlight trim with alcohol wipes first as well before installing. You need the 3M tape to cure on the guards before you put the pressure on them from installing. Even though the guards are contoured to fit your headlights they’re not perfect and they’re going to want to pull off which makes it hard for the tape to cure. I was able to use some clamps to hold them in place while curing. I noticed one reviewer mentioned rust which I can’t comment on. I’m not in a location where it snows. They do look great installed. You just have to do some work to ensure they stay on.

Looks very good. Good fit. Yes add more adhesive tape. Hope it does not rust in few years as made in china.
