First time using something other than Crayola
Like the title says, first time using something other than Crayola pencils. I did some research and then were reasonably priced and high quality. The difference is night and day. I get full color with little to no white spots. I can blend colors easily. It is on another level than those Crayola pencils.

Five stars!
The best coloring pencils ever! I have used these since I was a kid, I grew up in Brazil and this brand was big there and the best brand not only for coloring pencils but also for other school supplies. It’s good for beginners and for professionals. When I moved to the US I couldn’t find it anywhere in the stores, now I am so glad I found it here, I also bought a pencil sharpener and have other things in my shopping list. I love Faber Castell, and recommend everything they sell, definitely recommend it!

Great product once again FC
Have been looking forward to receiving these pencils ever since i made the purchase have heard nothing but GOOD things in regards to these from how good they blend as well as how they are compare to others and i must say i was not let down very impressed actually, they work well work anything you would like to use them for ranging from adult coloring books to artist quality artwork as well. Have many different sets and brands of color pencils and these rank right up there to me with all of my expensive brands definitely happy with my purchase and most likely going to order another set just to have on hand when these are out that's how much i like them. I hope this review helps and thanks again...

Nice pencils but a little softer than expected

Daughter loves them.
My daughter had asked for quality pencils for Christmas so I chose these based on some searches and the name. She loves them, the color is good and they blend well.

I love these pencils, they are my favorite. They are not scratchy and lay down smooth and even.

Here are the color names!
I have gone through the color chart for the 48 set of Classic colored pencils and the Goldfaber, and was able to find color names for all but one pencil. See attached photo.These are great pencils for no-fuss coloring. The lead is sturdy, and the casings are strong, straight, and made from quality wood. I recommend as a budget pencil and use them for travel or when I'm working on really toothy paper.
