Q: Can I attach the unit to an existing SoloRain valve and solenoid ?

Only workd with 9v DC solenoids. If your existing controller is 9v battery operated then it should work. If you have a standard wall-mounted 24 VAC output controller then it won't work without swapping your AC solenoids to DC solenoids.

Q: if i purchased 2 units for 2 statiins. would i be able to program it separately with one downloaded app?

Yes, they will show up on the app by their #’s and you can give each a “name” so you can keep them straight.

Q: Dloes this controller come with the DC latching solenoid?

yes it does. That solenoid is made for Hunter valves only

Q: Can i get this with a rainbird dc cylinoid

I think you have to buy their specific one as it is smaller than rain birds.
