These have good, clear lenses that magnify fine work nicely. The fit is great and protects nicely from the sides. They also make you look like Roy Orbison.

As I have aged, my optometrist said I could either see close up, or far away. Because I need to drive, I chose far away. But now I can't see anything closer than arm's length. That means reading glasses. But reading glasses don't provide any sort of safety protection in the workshop.Surely, I thought, someone makes safety goggles with reading lenses. And they do! The Pyramex Safety SG7910D20 Emerge Safety Glasses with Reader Lenses is exactly what I needed. They are high quality, sturdy, comfortable, safe, and best of all I can actually see what I'm doing.

These are NOT bifocal safety glasses!! I was so excited when they arrived but disappointed cuz they are not bifocals. These are READING SAFETY GLASSES or should I say they have a 1.5 lens for those who need the magnification. I need the eye protection but at same time need to be able to see up close and see far away. I was not happy!! I immediately jumped into my account and returned item. Thankfully, amazon refunded me within minutes and I didn't have to return them. But now I'm stuck with these, I guess I can find a use for them. I posted some pictures. They are heavy duty, solid, they have clear 1.5 lenses, they actually fit my face too!! Great quality!! Two pictures I tried to show how these are NOT bifocals, dont know how well you can see them. Thank you amazon for refund!

Best solution - I use "readers" in my woodshop. These have helped me from having to take on and off my readers to switch for my safety glasses when making my cuts and doing sanding. They are functional and very comfortable, and they serve as great eye protection. Great safety glasses, and so far they have not scratched.
