Q: How many ice packs come with this?

Only one Ice pack. Works ok for the price, but the wrap is not for an adult knee maybe for a child or adult elbow

Q: It doesn’t tell how the heat works? Only to get ice cold. Anyone knows how to use the heat?

On mine it came with a tag. Says to heat for 30 seconds, then 5 seconds more until it's at a temperature you like. I have to say, that takes way too long. Lol, so I upped the extra seconds to 15-20 second intervals and the first at 45-1min. Depending on your microwave power. Hope this helps!
