Well...I hope I never have to ask this question!! My dog did vomit a very dark brown/orange color on our cream color rug. I did get it out but it's a process and ignore the directions on the bottle. Clean up any standing or pieces of vomit. I put water on the stain an BLOT with a towel. DO NOT SCRUB!! Then I loaded the stain with a crap ton of this product. Let it sit a couple hrs and blot again. I had to repeat this process for several days...maybe a week. I got it out though! Buy the regular size squirt bottle and if you are starting to see and results buy the huge bottle. It has a $$ back guarantee if nothing else...worth a try? That or call a professional carpet cleaner company. Good luck!
