Is it awkward having to reach down and into the pan over this cone - - specifically turning fish filets or other delicate items using a spatula?
Measuring my lodge skillet, straight across, measures 10 1/4 inches. will this fit? also, is it not suppose to touch the bottom of the pan?
I see that it is rated to 450 degrees, but do you know how that compares to a typical stoves temperature when cooking on high?
My pan is straight walled, will it work. And a 10" pan with actual base of 9 7/8" with top of 2 1/2" wall at 10 1/8" diameter. Will 10" fry wall work?
