Adhesive too strong. Like super-glue to your skin, very, very difficult to remove. I tried the "protective skin barrier" sold by same company (coloplast) and it did not help the super-glue issue.I called Coloplast, all of their ext. Catheters have adhesive. I did a search for non-adhesive, learned that other companies sell them under the general description of "Texas catheter". I tried a few brands, so far I am liking the silicone (non latex) one made by Bard. It comes with a foam backed strap thing that keeps it on with no issues for me, as I got the right size. Most of the Bard catheters on Amazon have adhesive, I had to purchase from another vendor to get non-adhesive in my size.I was not looking forward to glue another Conveen Optima self-adhering catheters on again. Their support person suggested a facecloth soaked in "water as hot as I could stand it" to loosen the adhesive. That punishment did not seem to help. I did order some adhesive remover, that may be a solution for someone who must have the adhesive version ext catheter.-- Update 3-29-207 -- I did receive the adhesive remover (Coloplast "Bravo" spray) and it does help with removal. For me personally, I would prefer adhesive half the strength. I tried some competing brands and found similar adhesive, so it seems you choose between all or nothing on the adhesive.

These work great and are the best... Good fit, and not too much glue... Comes off easily in the shower... Holds secure for 24 hours without any issues. There is no 2nd to these. If you need them, Highly Recommend them.
