Superglue makes a world of difference
This puzzle was a lot of fun! It arrived two days ahead of time, and it is all fairly straightforward. Two suggestions:1. When doing the LED lights, I had them pop out a lot, and it was very frustrating. I recommend going to the store and buying some super-glue. It made a world of difference, and the lights stayed in place.2. Based on previous reviews, I was nervous about the domes. Each dome has 8 sides, and they are connected in 2 sets of 4. Instead of putting each whole set on at one time, I would just rip them into the 8 individual sides and attach them one by one. It was far easier! I glued them together as well. The maker of the product could make the domes easier to assemble. The dome (brownish red and green squares) was the easiest, but it is different than the others. The other ones had this piece on the top that wraps around the cross. The piece needed to be longer because it left a noticable gap. It was hard to put in place.Other than that, I loved this!

Not Like The Picture
I was very excited to put this puzzle together. However, after looking at other reviews, it seems as though there is a great variation in manufacturer production. The set I received didn't have colors as vibrant as the pictures on the listing. The instructions were simple to follow, but in many instances it felt as though the pieces would have been easier to assemble in a different order - which is what I started to do towards the end.The pieces fell apart easily as well - I had to tape some of them back together. It was a quick assembly, but I don't think it'll be a lasting piece if I end up moving it around. It was fun to put together, but I expected more in showmanship. Now I'm not sure if I'll purchase another one of these. Might stick to my dollhouse kits instead.

Skip the LEDs
They make a cheaper version of the St Basil's cathedral without the LEDs. I say get that one. Most of these look like they obscure the lights on the inside, which looks really cool lit up. This one doesn't. They're on the outside around the tower structures and they're straight white, so it doesn't look good IMO.Also for this one there isn't a solid way of securing the led bulbs in place. The instructions show it pushing in deeper than mine were obviously made to go. I had to open up the holes a bit to push them in further, but it exposes some of the black tape.Assembly wasn't too bad. BE CAREFUL WITH THE CROSSES! I bent one slightly, and it ended up snapping later on. First piece I've broken with a Cubicfun puzzle, and I've done tons of these now. I had to rig what was left in the bulb, and it doesn't look quite right but works. I moved that one to the back. You'll need glue for the tower tops/bulbs and other parts. Most sections simply don't stay in place and was the worst part. Pretty standard despite how they're advertised. I like the extra hold anyway. Looks good otherwise!

This is NOT A PUZZLE!
This is an insert tab A into slot b type of toy. It's not a puzzle at all. You aren't looking for interlocking pieces. You follow directions and insert the tabs into the correct slots. It's nothing more than that. Don't be fooled like I was. Several years ago I had a puzzle of interlocking pieces just like a jigsaw puzzle except it was 3D and it was of the Notre Dame cathedral. It was a great challenge putting it together but it was beautiful when completed. This is a challenge and putting together but only because it's not manufactured particularly well and when you put a slot into a tab another one will pop out. Finally there's no way two people can work on this at the same time.

Was fun, at times tedious, but well worth it!
Was fun to assemble. I took my time so it was a few hours longer than the projected time on the box. I made it pop a little more with some mini Christmas lights I found at Target. Would make a great gift for anyone into puzzles or who likes the St. Basil Cathedral/Christian Orthodoxy. Some pieces I lightly glued since they could pop out while handling the puzzle (i.e., moving it around).
