Better Than the Original RemoteI bought this as a replacement for the Vizio TV that came with my new house (model M502i-B1), and it works perfectly right out of the box — no programming needed. Shipping was fast and the remote arrived in perfect condition. If you need a replacement for your Vizio TV, this one does the job — and then some. Highly recommend.

We've had this type of remote when we purchased our TV and our 2 year old had thrown it on the floor so many times, it was literally held by tape. Then, recently, my dog peed on it, so there goes that.The remote died a stinky and painful death.I decided to buy a new one (obviously) and was excited to see that now they make it with a keyboard on the back (it always got on my nerves when I had to type everything on YouTube or our wifi password by using arrows!!). Then the reviews said that the remote breaks easily when dropped, as I had witnessed myself. Given that my child, although older, is still of course around, (it's a miracle!!) I had second thoughts. But I saw the review of a nice lady (THANK YOU!!!) Who said that they make a case for it! So now I'm paying it forward and I'm letting you know. 😉This has been a GREAT purchase. I love that I can use the keyboard to type whatever I want! And because of the case, our remote has fallen and doesn't even have a scratch! Plus, the case glows in the dark!Love love love! Would highly recommend, but I would highly suggest to buy the case for it as well. It's worth it, trust me.

Remote works great without any pairing. Had to purchase a Visio sound bar because the remote would not be compatible with my Samsung.Keyboard does not work with TV apps for searching Netflix or YouTube, etc.

My dog keeps eating my remotes so I have had a great opportunity to try out different remotes as I've been replacing them constantly. So far I've tried out the XRT302, the XRT112, the XRT136 and this one. For the most part the buttons are pretty much the same across the different models. I find the shortcut keys kind of useless since most of the apps on those I don't use so I'm not really taking those into consideration.I first tried the XRT302 because of the keyboard, but the IR range sucked on it and you had to be directly pointing it at the tv and even then it would only read half the letters. This model you just type like any reasonable person would and it just works. The backlight is also great.The build quality on this one is also the best. It feels really nice and the buttons feel good.I like the PIC button that seems to be unique to this one as well. It allows me to switch between Vivid, Calibrated, Custom, etc. without going into the menus which is convenient.If you're trying to decide which Vizio remote to get get this one. I don't normally write reviews but I figured my experience here might help some others.

I found this remote on Amazon!My original remote that came with my 2018 Vizio was looking quite used. I contacted Vizio for a new remote and they recommended I contact this company that sells their parts. So, I called this VIZio PARTS company and ordered a remote with the help of a customer service representative. Not only did it take more than a month to receive, VIZio PARTS company sent a slightly different remote than my original.That’s when I decided to check Amazon for my remote, and sure enough, I found my exact remote AND it was less expensive than the remote from THAT OTHER company!My remote works great! I didn’t have to do anything to set it up, it just started working right away.
