Q: Are these effective for kitchen moths?

These sachets can go in any drawer where cloth items are kept. They are designed to be used in a closed container, such as a storage box. Left in open air, they will lose their effectiveness, so you would need to replace them more often. They are totally non-toxic and very effective. I put them in the pockets of clothes hanging in closet, and in drawers. You could place them in a kitchen cupboard where moths have been...and I suspect the moths won't want to come back.

Q: Can no one answer what the ingredients are?? Seems like a simple question.

Box states that the ingredients are 39.5% Peppermint, 38.5% Rosemary, 19.0% Thyme and 2.0% Cloves. The sachets smell good and I have not had any moth damage. I have been using them for many years.

Q: How big is a packet? Could it fit in an instrument case?

about 2.5 inches square and 0.25 inches thick, yes I believe they can fit in an instrument case.

Q: Are these effective against carpet beetles?

I buy these every year. They work well for me. No perfumes or moth ball scents. Works against moth damage
