Safety 1st Quick Read Ear Thermometer

First one I ordered wouldn’t work. I didn’t want to change a battery on a brand new thermometer so I sent it back for a new one. This one works but gives a low battery message. The device cones with the peel-away cover to save the battery but it doesn’t seem to be working. Otherwise I guess it works ok. I kind of have trust issues with the battery doing its job.

Not bad for the price! Although if u have a baby who’s a bit fidgety like mine and hates things being put in there ears I don’t recommend

The only thing consistent about this Thermometer is that it consistently tells us a much lower temp than accurate. Readings all over the place! It completely failed me when I needed it the most. Don’t buy! It’s down right dangerous!

I bought new batteries for this twice and it keeps saying low battery. Never could take a temperature. Instructions are written in the Tineay font as possible. Waste of money .... I thought once I replaced the batteries I would see a positive result but I didn’t.

So I’m writing this now and to say that I’m disappointed is an understatement. I purchased this for my family due to our jobs placing us face to face with people during COVID-19 and the need to check our temps prior to reporting to work.After several uses my family and I were in absolute shock that we were all, in fact, dead. Every one. We ONLY found out we were dead because our consistent body temps ranged between 91.1 and 93.7. Nothing higher, nothing lower. We are still trying to determine if it was this thermometer that killed us or perhaps COVID-19, but it could have also been something a bit sneakier like boredom.The most unfortunate thing about all of this is that even though we are all dead now we still have to go to work, clean the house, use the bathroom, and sadly everyone can still see us. Imagine that, the one thing I most looked forward to in death was being a ghost and everyone can STILL FRICKEN SEE ME.Disappointed. Would not recommend. May have killed me and my entire family. Do not purchase.
