Q: Cant decide between a tempered glass screen protector or this anti glare screen protector. What would you recommend?

If you want anti glare, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. It works well as a screen protector though.

I suppose you could but it will affect how responsive touch screen will be

Works very well. It just blurs the image a little. This is the best anti-glare screen protector you can get for the 512 model.
