Q: 3.0 Sones. Isn't that really noisy?

3 Sones is about 43dBa. Which is the sound level of rustling leaves or soft music. If it's loud, it is probably the lack of smooth flow in the exhaust hose. Solid HVAC duct is quieter than corrugated dryer hose. But a little noise in the bathroom fan can mask some 'other' unwanted sounds.

Q: The dimensions in description says 1.1 x 1.1 x 0.8 inches, is that correct? or is it 11x11x8 inches?

Manufacturer’s website says: Unit- Length-10”, Width-9.25”, Height-5.25” Grille- Length-11.35” Width-12”

Yes, the description is incorrect. The A110 does not have any light. The A110L has a light.

Q: Could this replace the old nu tone model qt-110n-b?

The housing dimensions between the two models is slightly different. If you are replacing the QT110N-B with the A110, the old unit will have to be completely removed. The QT110N-B housing dimensions are 9-3/8" x 11-1/4" x 8" D. The A110 housing Dimensions are 9-1/4" x 10" x 5-3/4" D.
