Best cooler I've ever owned. Sturdy and roomy.

This is the best cooler I’ve ever owned. Kept everything cold, even frozen for a week. Ice barely melted. First took it out our family camping trip for a week. Got home and left in it the garage with the ice still in it. That week it was about 100 degrees outside and I checked on it thinking for sure the ice was melted. Nope, ice was still there! It did melt some but I was still very cold with ice cubes. Very good product! Btw I was on the fence between this cooler and the Yeti. So glad I went with one. Good price and quality.

I researched a lot of coolers before making this purchase. It seemed like a good balance of cost, features and weight. Sure you can buy one that costs double and may keep ice a day longer but it probably weighs double this cooler too. I just took it on the first fishing trip. I packed it with enough food and beverages for 4 men and 20lbs of ice. It was easy enough for two men to carry, performed well and cleans up easily. Kept everything cold for a long day on the water in 90 degree FL heat. Very happy with this purchase.

I bought this for an upcoming camping trip so I have not officially used it yet. I did test it when it arrived. I filled it with ice and let it sit outside in the hot sun with daytime temperatures in the 90s. It took seven days for all the melt. The remaining water continued to stay cold to the touch for 2 mor days. I can't really comment on durability yet but it seems to be very durable. When I do use it on our trip I plan to mount it on the back of my truck camper.

I purchased it in a pinch but I'm happy with the quality. Slightly disappointed but not surprised that it's made in china. Keeps ice about 5 days but I haven't been able to put it to the real test on a hot day.

Style and price is much better than the other two I bought. Wire basket is great add. Used over holidays for beverages and I still had ice after 9 days. Weather was only 40 -50 degrees outside but was pleasantly surprised by how well it stayed cold and had lid up or left open much of the time. Have purchased both Yeti and Rtic but like this one the best.

Do not buy this cooler! I've had mine for about a year and theT latches cracked and broke. Replacement latches can't be found anywhere and I mean ANYWHERE! I called Igloo Direct and they were useless all they wanted to do is try to sell me a new cooler. I have two yetis that are older and the latch is broke and I had The Replacements here within a day through Amazon. The igloo is a longer latch and if they are available somewhere I certainly can't find them in either can the rep at igloo.

So I reviewed this as it was a gift from my wife. I did not realize she purchased it elsewhere as my Amazon order still hasn’t arrived. Otherwise my review stands. :If you don’t need the over-sturdy build of those high dollar chests, this one is fantastic. It is still sturdy and weighs about 1/2 of what a yeti or rtic does. It is heading out for a three week archery deer hunt soon and if isn’t as good as it has been so far I’ll change this review.
