Hi, below are using steps for your reference, 1.Connect the pads to the wire. 2.Attach a pair of pads on your body. 3.Plug the lead wires into the ports and turn the unit on. 4.Press the 'M' for 4 seconds to switch between 6 main modes. Short press 'M' to choose within the built-in 4 modes." 5.Press '-/+' to adjust the intensity.(only the port connected well and pads pasted on your body, could you adjust the intensity) 6.Short press the center button to change channel A/B, repeat step 4 and 5 to set the mode and intensity. 7.Press the center button for 3 seconds to lock/unlock the screen. 8.Press ‘T' to adjust the time from 10 to 60 minutes, the tens will turn off after the countdown ends.

It is both ems and tens. However I found it somewhat complicated to use. When I finally got it right it did a good job to relieve my problem.

Q: I've now purchased 2 of these and they both crap out after a few uses. My second one just stopped working again. Can I return this?
