The set up is not ideal and the reflex bar moves real slow. I was expecting it to bounce off bag and rebound, but it doesn’t, it just stays on the side. It’s practically unusable, I have to figure out another way to use it or I’ll probably return it.

Difficult too set up poor design

I received the reflex bar today and immediately tried to mount it to my Century heavy bag. The straps that the bar came with are too thin and the buckles offer no resistance whatsoever. No matter how tight I tried to pull the straps together, the bar was still loose and about ready to come off. At the end, I just removed those straps and used basic bungee cords with hooks to secure the bar on my bag. After that, I was able to start boxing with the bar. But the bar doesn’t rebound unless I hit it hard so that it will bounce off the bag and even so, the speed of it swinging back at me is a bit slow. The product could use a couple of springs to facilitate the rebound and the speed. Currently, I’d recommend this for beginning level training.
