Q: How come it’s so spicy?? When I bought it about 15 years ago it was not spicy.

I've been buying this for several years and it's always been sweet AND spicy due to the Chipotle in it.

Q: Can this be used as a marinade? Or is it too thick?

I think it would be fine as a marinade. Just add some water if you think it is too thick. I use it mostly as a salad dressing. Tastes great!

Q: can you use this as a dip, or does it require cooking?

This does not require cooking. I'm not sure what I would use it as a dip for by itself, but I have used it poured over brie cheese as a dip as well as with a cream cheese, as a sandwich spread and many other. My favorite is served over pork tenderloin and is also great with chicken. It has so many uses! You can mix it with olive oil and balsamic vinegar for a salad dressing. You won't be disappointed. Whenever I serve it, I get many compliments.
