Single Door Security Lock

Q: On a door where the handle also turns upwards, could the bar be pushed away by swinging the handle up and middle several times?

We had the same question, and the answer is yes. However, to get around this we put a piece of rubber tube inside the part that goes over the handle to stop the bar slipping and tested it to see if it worked, which it did. I think the product should be upgraded to incorporate this.
