Water Proof Adhesive for Wig and Toupee; Davlyn Black Adhesive Works Well with Oily Skin; Attach Wig with Glue: Lace or Polyurethane Liquid Adhesive Hair from Davlyn

I've used various adhesives for my lace wigs over the past 11 years and this is the best one so far. I know allot of people complain about the thin consistency and it being stringy and perhaps it's my overall experience with using clear adhesives more than the thick white glues like Ghost Bond, but I pretty much know how to apply it without the mess and have been using the Salon Pro 30 Second Glue with good results as far as holding for 1-2 weeks but lately I've noticed it dries up in the bottle faster and the smell of the glue is very noticeable and takes hours to go away, however this adhesive does not have a strong odor once dried and holds exceptionally well, in fact I tried to pull a small area of lace away from my forehead to trim the lace more and it would not budge without me applying 90% alcohol to a Qtip and dabbing the area to lift it up. My problem area has always been the nape area and so far mine has not lifted at all so I can now rock my favorite high buns without worrying about it lifting. This is now my favorite adhesive!

I was Very skeptical about this glue and actually ordered it by accident but this is my forever go to lace glue. It’s truly water resistant and dries clear, only downside is it’s runny

The glue will not hold!!! Definitely not waterproof. It’s very runny.

This product does not get sticky like most of the others. My first bottle went down to 1/4 when it got a bit too sticky. I could use it but I liked it better at the beginning 3/4ths. The other products I tried was harder to work with for me.

I've never used wig glue before so I'm not sure what the typical consistency of the product is like, but it's a stringy mess. Despite running the applicator along the rim of the bottle to get rid of excess product before applying, after touching the brush to skin or lace and pulling it away it sort of drags thin strings of the adhesive onto lashes, brows, face, and hair. The applicator brush itself is just a tad too wide. I gave it three stars because although I will be hesitant to repurchase this product, it does have a strong hold.

I love this stuff... I have tried every glue and lace adhesive out there and this is the easiest one to use and to remove so far for me~ you just paint on a thin... THIN layer exactly around the perimeter of your front hairline where it will need to lay flat. Then you wait three minutes and slowly and carefully lace your lace in place around the hairline with a comb's tail. EASY! And it STAYS PUT! I love it. You can do flipover styles. You can do updos. I love my high ponytails available with this product. Best of all it is a BREEZE to take off. You DO NEED the Davlyn Adhesive remover though. I am not a fan of the C-22 solvent, personally. It's messy. The Davlyn just removes everything very very easily. I wish Amazon would sell it!

I bought this as a last resort because I needed a sweat proof adhesive for my wig. Boy oh boy, this works amazingly!! I went to the gym and did a tough workout and sat in the sauna after. My wig didn't budge. I love this stuff. I had a hard time getting it off honestly. Thankfully I saw a review that said to use 70% or 90% alcohol, and that worked.

This glue works great! It is messy, but you’ll learn how to manage the glue. This glue really sticks as it should. Be careful with getting this glue on your hands, it was definitely tough to get off. This glue really sticks! I didn’t have to do any touch up. The glue is clear, which is great. It was easy to wash out. The glue did not pull any of my hair out. I will continue to use this glue! I like it.
