Thick pipe coverings…new resident last year..had broken pipes a few times..did my research to get ready for the winter..this had the best reviews and it holds up to my expectations..the adhesive worked great even tho it got a lil dirty wrapping in such a small area..it still formed to the pipe like a champ

I got exactly what I paid for. The tape is foamed material making it soft to the touch and extremely pliable. The adhesive is super strong. I was able to wrap a vent pipe to provide both a water tight seal (overlapping the tape slightly) and some insulating value. I finished off with a foil backed cotton insulating roll. Hopefully this will help control the condensation and ice that forms in the winter. When the weather warms the ice melts and water leaks from the seams in the ducts.
