Lost the charging cord to my speaker I purchased at Costco. I looked up the type of charging cable I needed, and this matched. Works well and has a decent length cable for extra mobility, if needed, while charging.

Powers my speaker. Not sure if it charges the battery
I have a set of Acoustic Research Santa Cruz AWSF100 speakers. I really like these speakers. I moved about 2 years ago and I still can't find the original adapters to charge the batteries. I purchased this adapter to charge the speakers. I left them charging for quite a while. When I tried to power on the speakers after charging, they did not come on. I plug the charger into the speaker and it powered up immediately.I don't know if the batteries are dead and need to be replaced or if the charger will power the speaker but not charge the batteries. Since this charger does power the speakers and is cheaper than buying a battery (or two), I will purchase another adapter and just plug them in when I go to use them.My immediate problem (no power for the speakers) is solved but not necessarily the solution I was hoping for.
