Q: WHAT PAINT COLORS TO USE ???

I used white, yellow, black, and gray.

Q: what are the dimensions of all the structures? That would be helpful to know if it will fit the layout before ordering.

Powerhouse 2 5/8" x 2 1/2" x 1 7/8" High, stacks stand about 3 1/2" above roof. Sawdust burner about 4" diameter x 4 1/2" High. Mill building as pictured is 16 3/8" long x 9 3/8" from front to back x 5 1/2" High. You can shorten the log conveyor and reduce building length to about 12 1/8" long x 9 3/8". It is a detailed kit. Lots of parts. Four color plastic. Some spray paint and accent painting will improve realism. Nice kit. Hope this helps.
