These work wonders for our aging boy
Went to a local pet supply store when our boy Pilot was starting to get achy from time to time. They suggested these and after a month he was back in action and moving much better. Now he can walk forever(oof) and when I saw these on sale here for half the price I couldn’t resist. I’ll purchase again when on sale.

Helped my 10 years old dog.
My dog was having a hard time getting around. She is moving a lot better. I get this every month for her. It smells like meat and she loves her"treat" every night.

Wow
My eight-year-old German Shepherd is not crazy about the taste, but he will definitely eat it with food. He’s only taking it for four days now and I’ve already noticed a significant difference in his attitude and lack of pain. And not limping anymore. Happy dog happy daddy

Really makes a difference
I have a very large German Shepard (over 100 lbs) and he has hip issues which this product helps with greatly. I will never skip a day of giving him this supplement.

Fantastic results with Nutrimax suppliments
There has been a definite improvement in my 8 year old beagle's overall mobility since beginning Cosequin D. After being on it for about a month, she was moving and playing more freely. This increased activity did, however, lead to a strain in her left wrist joint.Afterward, the vet prescribed Welactin (to be taken in addition to Cosequin D), a fish oil supplement also by Nutrimax, and specified that my beagle receive twice the dosage recommend on the box. The two supplements together have been phenomenal. Not only has my dog been more active and playful, her overall temperament is that of a much younger dog. She's friendlier, enjoys walks again, and has not had a recurrence of her old injuries.I only rate Cosequin D at 4 stars because it needs that little extra boost from the Welactin to provide the full effect. All other considerations aside, I'd call this and other Nutrimax products very effective. I highly recommend them for your pup's needs.

Joint stiffness has minimized drastically on my two senior dogs!
Have noticed a drastic difference in my senior dogs. Their stiffness has definitely minimized. Out of ALL of the Cosequin/Nutramax I have tried, this strength is the only one that has worked and my dogs love them! They think they are getting snacks. Highly recommend. Can't find in my local pet store, so had to order online, and price was very reasonable.ADDENDUM: Upon trying to reorder more of these, I noticed on the packages I received, they are "...Plus MSM & BOSWELLIA". I notice the package pictured does not list the Boswellia (Boswellia Serrata Extract, 30 mg), so am wondering if the new packages without are deemed better. I read allergic side-effects of the Boswellia could be chest pain, breathing problems, hives/swelling, and/or dermatitis. Although my dogs have not been scratching, one of them had previously had skin issues due to another health issue, but I notice the dryness and bumps are back. I am not listing this as to be alarmed, but just wanted you to be aware of some additives. I will again order these and since the Boswellia is NOT listed or shown on the package, I will be just as pleased to get the package without it. I know the MSM works wonders. I had shown this brand to my vet and she stated it is a highly recommended OTC brand for dogs.

A must have for older, larger dogs. IMO.
My pup is an eight-year-old German Shepherd. Last summer he was running around with me outside while I was working and every once in a while he would yelp, as though in pain. A quick trip to the vet showed he didn’t really have anything wrong and it was believed he was having joint pain in his hips . While talking to the vet, she advised one option would be to put him on glucosamine. Since that time he has had a steady diet of these dog chews, and hasn’t really had any problems since. The only time there was a relapse was when I did not get his chews in time and he was without for a short time. The only time there was a relapse was when I did not get his chews on time and he was without for a week or two. He will be pushing nine years old this fall and although he acts like an old man sometimes, when he gets to go outside with dad, he runs around like a little puppy. They must taste really good because he really likes them as his bedtime snack. I strongly recommend doing the subscription so you don’t run out, as I did once. I do keep track of the price at my local Walmart, just to make sure that the price remains competitive.

This stuff actually works
I’m normally very skeptical of products like this, but my old Australian Shepherd mix girl had become unable to jump into the truck anymore and would sometimes squeak in pain even when she was just walking. I wanted to try something to help her, so I tried this. I’m very impressed. She still can’t jump into the truck, but she gets up on the bed more easily, and she’s much more active than she was before. She can play fetch for twice as long as before. And no pain squeaks lately, either. I plan to continue giving her these and will update this review if the results change. I am not affiliated with the manufacturer, nor have I been compensated in any way for this review. I just wanted to share my experience because I’m honestly kind of amazed that this stuff actually works - and my Mitzi loves them!
