Q: How do you get the shaving cream on?

If my husband is around, he puts the shaving cream on. Otherwise, I use a real creamy soap lather (like Dove) that I apply with a long-handled sponge. There is a ledge- and velcro - when you shave the ledge holds the razor in place - also you can make the velcro tight around the razor - I was surprised the razor was so stable - what I had to get used to was the amount of pressure to put on my skin - It takes a little getting used to -

I would say this device is probably better with a disposable razors because they are lighter. If the razor has some weight to it, I don't think it would hold very well.
