Kinfolk Textile Thermal Blackout Curtain Linings Pair 3 Pass Includes Curtain Hooks (66" x 72")

These liners are well made and absolutely true to size. Purchased them to line my 66" x 99" medium-weight curtains. I couldn't attach them directly to the curtain panels since I have eyelet curtains. I hung them on the rod itself by buying separate metal curtain hanging rings (30 mm internal diameter), which can be used with/attached to the white plastic hooks provided with the liners. Perfect length, with nothing showing under the curtains' bottom hem. I also sewed in 3 clear snap buttons along the long sides to keep each curtain panel attached to its liner (and prevent the latter flapping around). Finally there is close to no light coming in (I moved some of the liner in the second photo to show the difference). Most importantly, the room stopped feeling like a greenhouse, which was our main issue. All-round success, thank you!

I was wary with some of the reviews i read, but these arrive on time, well packaged , the correct size and had no issues of them sticking together and they black out well. Thank you

Work well. Don’t be silly like me though. Order for the size our your curtains, not the size of the window opening!

This is proper blackout lining. 👍Gather the lining to the same length as the curtain, tie cords at both ends, slip a dozen hooks into the loops not the cord, hang the hooks onto the curtain loops, hang the curtain and liner assembly together.

The media could not be loaded. I noticed some reviews had trouble with the hooks, but I found them quite easy following the instructions so I attached a short video demonstrating. It's easier when you're not holding a camera in one hand 😂 the before and after speak for themselves- you can see a little light creeping in through the edges but it's completely blackout.I purchased these because the council in their infinite wisdom have installed daylight bulbs in the outdoor street lighting- yes, that bright before picture was taken at night after dark- on the occasions I have a friend on my sofabed they've had trouble sleeping, so these were a great solution.However the sizing was completely wrong. I purchased these as the size was listed almost identical to my custom, not standard size curtains. Unfortunately the actual size of each piece was 130cm long by 164cm wide. The listed size was 167 long by 137 wide. My curtains are 170 long by 135 wide so the listed size was perfect unfortunately on arrival the tape was attached to the 164 edge, so they are listed incorrectly. Luckily there's a 20cm overhang under the windowsill and I was able to gather the long side to fit the shorter width, I made it work- but buyer beware, as the incorrectly listed size will not work unless you got very lucky like I did! You can see how lucky in the final review image- it just skims the sill, while the curtain continues down alone!

It does the job but be prepared to do a substantial amount of ironing as they were extremely creased.They looked wonderful in the packaging, very smooth but inside was very different.I'm hoping the smaller creases drop out now they are hung.
