Worked for a couple months until the connection broke and it no longer gives power to the laptop correctly

Fit just fine and works like a charm!
Had to replace my 3 year old laptop battery (ASUS ROG Zephyrus GX531G) as it was starting to drain at least 1% every ~5 seconds. I bought this replacement despite the reviews and I haven't had any issues with fitment or anything. I made triple sure that I was getting the correct replacement and this worked like a charm. It's been 2 months since I bought it and it's been perfect.

Not for the GS model. At least mine.
So, honestly I don't know who to blame. The Battery does transfer energy for what I saw and it looks legit except for the lack of Asus logo on it. The model is the one I was looking for. However, this battery is slightly larger from the left corner and unfortunately the tolerances on the GS model are not forgiving.The battery didn't fit, but if you had a different experience I believe you. My laptop has been a Royal pain in the ass lately.PS: I don't want to give it a rating since I didn't use it.
