Q: What’s the diameter of the holes? How many holes in total? Please confirm that holes are as shown in images including the lid and two sets of rows.

The holes are as pictured. I’ve bought like eight of these for arboreal tarantulas. They work great. The holes are 3-4mm in diameter. Definitely not bigger than 4.

Q: Would flightless fruitflies be able to escape through the holes?

Yes, they will, you can use cellophane tape.

Q: Can it be used as worm compost bin where kids can watch them decompose?

I think it would work well! Not too many worms, though....too small for a lot of them.

Q: Can this be used to store dubia roaches

Probably so but not the ideal enclosure for them
