Got a bad, broken professional beautiful looking Gedore torque wrench...
This might be the first negative review I've ever written on Amazon.I finally decided to add a 20-100nm torque wrench to my tool collection. I wanted a decent brand, so I bought a real German Gedore professional torque wrench.I have been using my Facom 40-200 torque wrench for several years now without any problems and it is and always will be flawless, I'm certain about that. However, this Gedore isn't stable at all and looks like it's falling apart right out of the (cheaply simple plastic) box. The calibration report is really, really accurate. 1.48% instead of the 3 or 4% margin professional torque wrenches should have.Too bad I was disappointed. This doesn't mean I won't trust Gedore anymore, but since I've seen some other customers complain about this particular wrench, I won't order the same one again.I'm still not sure which wrench will be my next, perhaps I'll just keep working with my 5-25 Tengtools and my 40-200nm Facom, the 15nm gap that I wanted to cover isn't that big and I can wind back my Facom to 35 nm if needed...The pro's and cons:Pro:-It looks awesome, very decent and high quality with it's matte black finish.-It's not too expensive compared to a brand B tool-Calibration report is very, very accurateCon:-The head is just clicking around as you can see in my video.-The plastic box looks a bit cheap. I'd expect a decent box for a high quality product like this should've been. Then again, since it is a professional tool, car repair shops won't need a fancy box. Nonetheless, those boxes aren't too expensive IMHO...-I've sent it back after making the video. I don't trust it and I never will. I won't be buying the same.Like I said, I haven't lost my faith in Gedore. This might be the same bad wrench that gets shipped from the warehouse to customers each time again... If that's the fact, Amazon should send it back to Gedore for a warranty replacement. As always, the return process via Amazon was flawless. It took over a week to get my money back, but they handled it and it's been sorted out.

Klappert
