It could be used to help with detangling.

Q: Can this be use as a heat protector

I personally wouldn't recommend using it as a heat protector because this product can be very greasy on your hair.

Q: Does anybody use this on wavy hair? I have more along the lines of 2B type hair but is very frizzy as I live in a cold climate.

I don't have wavy hair and no longer use it because even just a little bit made my kinky curly hair way too greasy and oily. I didn't like it at all.
