Free Form Snip Tips Omega-3 Fish Oil Liquid Supplement for Medium & Large Dogs, 250 Count

I added the Bayer, now Elanco Fish Oil snip tip capsules at my vet’s recommendation for my now 13 and 14 year old dogs. I cut them open and squeeze on their dinner (kitchen shears you can take apart to clean are a must for this task!). The dogs have no problems eating it, and their coats and skin were the first things I noticed to have changed for the better. At their next vet appointment, my vet said their joints were feeling terrific, and they still move like dogs in their prime. Finally we just had their annual bloodwork done two weeks ago, and my vet said that the lab results looked like dogs half their age, partially due to the fish oil, the only supplement they take, and to keep doing what we’re doing.I just hope that Amazon brings the 250 count bottles back in stock because they are a significantly better price value than the 60 count.

I can't give fantastic "this has changed my dog's life!" kind of reviews, because I started giving my dog this before she started having any age related issues. I can say that her coat is much softer and shinier with fish oil, but I've been using it to support joint and brain/heart/all that function for 6 years. It's the same suppliment you buy at your vet office, and, after plenty of research, is my number 1 choice for fish oil. It isn't messy, and no noticeable smell. The snip tips are super easy to give. I only broke it open the one time when I first introduced it to her 6 years ago so that she could smell the oil inside, and she has taken with glee faithfully every day afterward. But it's not the lack of mess, measuring, or other general difficulty that made me choose this product. If it were the most difficult frustrating fish oil to give, I would still choose it. The numbers for this one are just better than any other that I could find. I wish I could remember the stats so that I could share them, but my memory is soooo short. All I can remember is that I was really impressed, and felt really safe giving it to my dog. The Bayer snip tips are also part of a... Shoot. It's some kind of group that gets its resources in a sustainable way or something. I can't remember!! That makes me sad, lol.

Lab has been taking 2 pills a day since a pup. At almost 4, his coat is shiny and healthy looking. People compliment and inquire. Have tried other brands but come back to this brand as the best. Worth the extra money.

Really makes a difference in the coat for our springer spaniels. They love it when i empty the capsules but when i am in a hurry they will also just eat the capsule whole

My dog feels through her food as she wolfs it down and will spit out anything foreign (except for Milk-Bones, meats, & treats, of course). So I dispensed this product, as directed, by squeezing the oil onto the food. She gobbled it down & after doing that for 6-8 months, it got to be a mess. Then we switched to throwing the whole gel-cap in the bottom of her bowl…and discovered it gone when she was done. Now, it’s a whole lot easier (and cleaner).

I cannot recommend this product enough. High quality Omega that is easy to add to both my dogs' food. I just twist the top, squirt it on the food, and they gobble it down. My beagle was diagnosed with SLO. Treatment involves a high dosage of high quality Omega and this product goes above and beyond to help get him into remission.

My dog's dermatologist vet recommended that I use this fish oil for my dog with severe allergies. It helps calm down her skin and keeps her coat shiny and soft. We have been giving her one daily squeezed over her food for 3 years now. It comes in a capsule with a "snip tip". You can cut the top off with scissors or twist it off. She loves the flavor and licks her bowl clean. My dogs allergies have been well controlled with her special prescription food, allergy meds plus these capsules. My vet is impressed with how well she is doing and we continue to use only these free form fish oil. It saves a lot of money to buy the larger size.
