Q: Will the black scratch off with use?

I haven’t used the black specifically but the silver ones hold up amazingly well! This hardware is on bags & backpacks that are 1+ yrs old & used on an every day basis & it all still looks brand new!

Q: how much wheight can it hold?

I used mine for leather straps on a canvas duffle bag. I’ve probably never carried more than 20 lbs but I’m sure they’d hold up with more.

Q: Will 1 inch webbing fit inside the 1 inch hardware?

1" webbing will fit in the hardware. I just used 1" webbing that had then been covered in fabric and it fit just fine.
