Good memory UPDATE: One stick died
Easy installation and nice looking heat syncs. I put these into a ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 motherboard. In order to reach 1600mhz I had to very simply change the AI Tweaker profile to X.M.P.. The default profile (Profile 1) does allow 1600mhz but the second profile bumps the voltage up a bit.!!!UPDATE!!!One of the sticks has gone bad only days after getting it setup and configured. The Corsair RMA process is extremely slow. It's also a bit more complicated than most. Usually you pay shipping one way and while that is the case with corsair they also don't suggest a carrier other than USPS and you must drop it off yourself. The cost was very low but this meant that I had to go to the post office, pack the memory, address the box and write my RMA number on it and then ship it out. Most companies just charge you for a shipping label that they have you print off and send. It will probably take more than a month to get this package back.!!!UPDATE 2!!!Everything came back and the stick has been running problem free ever since.

Does the job!
I'd already stuck a set of these in my machine, so when it came time to up the RAM, I just bought another set. Now I've got two sets running happily on the machine and maxing out the memory in my desktop. Aside from a couple of teething issues with seating them correctly in the motherboard (user error) and one small issue with the BIOS updating, they worked out perfectly. Not exactly a plug-and-play, but easy enough to do in about fifteen minutes. They work great and I've noticed a sizable speed improvement over the 6GB of Ram it replaced.

A little tricky to set up on some mobos
Once setup, working great. These sticks are a little bit tricky to get running at 1600 Mhz speeds on certain motherboards. I've heard of people having trouble on X58 based Asus and EVGA boards so far, had a few hiccups getting them running smoothly on my EVGA X58 SLI LE. More an operator issue, rather than the memory itself. The problem I was having was that the sticks would be stuck at 2:8 @ 1066 Mhz, regardless of XMP Profiles I would assign, or the memory settings I input manually. Overclocking my base clocks to reach 1600Mhz worked, but it wasn't Prime stable. Besides, I should have been able to run at stock clocks at 2:12|1600Mhz. The problem, as discovered, was that there were two "Turbo" settings in my BIOS. One was a "Turbo Mode", which added a bonus multiplier (good thing), the other was a "Turbo Performance" setting nested in the voltage controls, which was more of an eco friendly turbo mode (bad thing). It was the latter that had my memory multiplier stuck at 2:8. Disabling it quickly resolved the issue.I haven't pushed the memory all that much, but it has been reliable with a mild overclock @ 2:10, 1663Mhz, stock voltages.

Best Buy (no yellow tag)
Corsair, being one of the top manufacturers of memory and flash products, has a real winner with this set! Tooling around with VM Workstation, continuously running multiple applications, and 15 IE tabs, a 12GB upgrade was on the warranted and on the menu . The fact that these sticks run at the specified 1.5 volts was a plus (more efficiency, less heat + more) that caught my eye. They also have XMP profiles built in, so when I am feeling froggy, I can crank everything up, and get them well past their 1600Mhz rating. With a price that is very fair, a solid look and feel, and the Corsair name - this was a win-win-win.

Perfect Memory for the Price
I was looking for fast 1600MHz memory that was stable and inexpensive. These Corsair's are perfect. Not only do they have an excellent track record with almost zero failures, but they can achieve their rated speed with perfect stability. I popped them in and immediately began running smoothly. I had it running with an XMP profile. I would definitely purchase these again and might add 12GB more in the near future because I am so happy with this purchase.Corsair definitely has a winner with these memory modules.

Fast reliable memory and easy to modify if it won't fit under your cpu cooler
I've never had issues with corsair memory and this is no exception. It performs as well as it can for an outdated format and does come with an overclocking profile that recognizes on the asus motherboards. I did find the heat sink was making it impossible to fit the last stick in with my cpu cooler. Fortunately, others had this issue and provided a quick solution. A heat gun and something thin to pry it off is all it took (recommend those cell repair or ifix kits). The heat really makes the thermal glue easy to separate without breaking anything, so don't be afraid if you have to. Like you'd also probably expect I noticed no difference with memory performance after taking the sink off even with overclocking.
