Q: Will this work with klipsch speakers

I would recommend to double check if your speaker has mounting holes on the back and make sure the bracket does not cover any cable outputs. I hope this helps. Q: How does the mount attach to the speaker?

Q: will the mounting plate attach to an outlet box and is there a hole for the wire to attach to the speaker ?

It will not mount to an outlet. The mounts are actually smaller than an outlet.I honestly can't tell you if the hole is for the speaker wire to go through.
