Q: What is the return policy?

Not sure. I have gad mine fir about 4 years or more. Guess standard Amazon return window of 30 days.

Q: Elderly female seeking best cordless snow shovel. how does this compare to the snow joe models? which works better? any recommendations?

This is heavy and awkward to handle so I would not recommend to most with smaller frames.

Q: Can you shovel on grass with it for a pet area.

We have two bulldogs. We make a path for them out into the grass and it works great. Most of the time the grass is frozen.

Q: Brand new battery doesn’t charge anyone else have this problem

Here are a few troubleshooting suggestions to check out. 1) When the battery is inserted, the light should begin flashing green to indicate the battery is charging. If this light is not igniting or is flashing red, this may indicate an issue and we would be interested in hearing more about this. If the light simply goes solid red, try removing the battery and unplugging the charger for about 10 minutes and place them both indoors in a room temperature setting, as this might indicate the battery is at the incorrect temperature to be charged. 2) Ensure that the battery has been fully inserted into the charger. Sometimes this requires a firm push into place to make sure that it has been properly seated. 3) Try resetting the charger. To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. If the charger has been plugged in for extended periods of time, this can sometimes cause the charger to malfunction. Should you continue to experience a problem with the battery and charger, please contact us so that we can complete troubleshooting with you and gather necessary unit information.
