Q: What is Fire temperature ?

The bottle states cone 5-10. However, this is incorrect as the temperature given is 1850 degrees F. It needs to be applied to a cone 04 bisque and then glaze fired to a cone 05 before pulling out of the kiln and placing into combustibles for reduction. I have had very good luck with them, but make sure that you slowly increase temperature throughout the day. If you start at say 6 am you should finish around 4pm or slightly later. If you go to fast the glaze may bubble.

Since this is a raku glaze it should be fired in a raku kiln at 1,850 degrees Fahrenheit. There isn't a "cone rating" as this is a different type of firing process. Thanks!
