Q: What is the coverage range?

As with all of these types of devices (transmitters and receivers) it depends on several factors that can affect the radio waves. I was able to use it from the second floor of my home through a wall and a floor from the router, and from outside my house on my porch. It depends on the strength of the router/modem signal that is transmitting to your computer and what is between your computer and the router/modem. Sheetrock walls are easier to go through than older plaster and lathe, for example. In a concrete and steel building or basement, it may only work in the room. Be leary of any published ranges, as these would be under completely ideal (no walls, completely clear) and unrealistic circumstances. I hope this helps!

Q: Is this compatible with Macbook Pro?

Hi! I searched the website of TP-Link and it says that is compatible with windows XP/Vista/& . The link is :http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/details/?model=TL-WN821N#down. Also I did not buy this product for my windows desktop ,my model was TP-LINK TL-WN822N. And it only supports Windows too. I tested my model . It is not detected by Mac OS.

Q: Does this adapter support Windows 10 Pro?

I only see Win 7 / 8 drivers at their download page: http://www.tp-link.us/download/TL-WN821N.html#Driver
